Farina Town - April 8,1879

Farina Town, March 29 evening, an entertainment was given by members of the Farina cricket club in aid of funds of the club. The attendance was good, and the programme, which consisted of songs, recitations, the trial scene from "Pickwick" &c &c was gone through in a very creditable manner. All present seemed to enjoy themselves heartily. It is to be hoped, now the ice is broken and the abilities of some of our residents known, that we shall get further entertainments from time to time.
The weather continues dry and hot; rain is very anxiously looked for, as it is getting so late in the season.

Moonta Musical Competitions - November 14, 1908
