The 2022 Week 8 Restoration Works

Farina Creek Railway re-development takes its first passengers (al beit at a very slow pace).

Our volunteers have been very busy this last 2 weeks, preparing the ground, laying ballast, sleepers and finally some track. Some with a few sore backs and blisters, but what a result. This is the first “Narrow Gauge” track laid in 67 years ie before the Commonwealth Railways built the “Standard gauge” that commenced service in 1956.
This is just the start of what will be a fantastic display project in the next few seasons, given the further support of all our many volunteers and supporters.
Together we can make a difference.
Well done to Bill, Alan, Rob, Damian and all of our many volunteers that got us this far..
