The 2023 Week 8 Restoration Works
To document the activities of the Farina Restoration Group each week during our 8 week programme in 2023 we have chosen to ask for contributions of stories and photos from Volunteers and Visitors. We hope you enjoy looking at the activities and events through the eyes of our volunteers and visitors.
The following contribution to the Farina restoration story has been made by FRG Volunteers Stuart and Judy:
Hi, my wife and I just completed week 8 loved every minute and will do again next year. My wife work front of bakery and I had the most important job other than Kerry and that was to keep the donkey going and generator as required.
Was given nickname “Donkey Poker” which stuck.

The following contribution to the Farina restoration story has been made by FRG Volunteer and Coordinator Tamara Greenham:
“This was the last pull aparts cooked on Sunday hot out of the oven. Kerry taking the last heavy fruit loaf out of the oven on Sunday also. Our last camp fire and the sunset was stunning.
The railway precinct walls erected in the past 2 weeks. Hotels had some stone work done also. Ellie’s Rock art is catching on with other kids which is great.
Cheers
Tamara”
