The 2026 Restoration Works

This season saw a an uncertain start with the fuel prices and potential for limited availability, however experience showed that plenty of fuel was available and the season got off to a good start.

Work continued on the diesel locomotive NSU62 with signwriting and detail work continuing on the restoration.

The Stonework crew did a fantastic job tidying up the Old Police Station prior to the memorial service and unveiling of a plaque and sillouette in honour of Mounted Constable Spicer.
