Mules, Muleteers and the Malacca

A copy of an interesting piece of genealogical research was given to the restoration group by Wayne Clutterbuck, who has spent many hours researching his family.

The document he provided details his research into his maternal second great-grandfather who was a Chilean who came to Australia as one of The English and Australian Copper Company muleteers.

The story is directly connected to Farina through Clement Bralla one of the original immigrants from Chile, who was married in the Church of England at Farina in 1891. Clement purchased land in the Farina Township in 1889 (Lot 228).
